I personally think the hear, see and silence part is in this society today such an important aspect. Everything you say, everything you do, there will always be someone who criticize or disrespect what you're doing or you're opion. I've learned along the way it's better to keep silence than attack one another. That does not mean you don't speak out or so because in this society you have to have a voice, a identity, a personality to reach the success you want to archieve. But still be and stay true to yourself.

Conclusion: Do what you love and never let anyone tell you to do different.

DIY; PENCASE / CLUTCH / CASE FOR WHATEVER

Since i'm a chaotic person, i've lost every single pencil, pen, scissors ect. that i owned. I thought it would be necessary to make an pen case to hold them all together and never lose anything again. And since the new school year starts about 2 weeks, why not make one now?

I'm going to take you through it step by step so you can make your own!

FINISH LINE

As you can see in the post from yesterday, i finished it! I'm happy with the result how the fabric works as a short BUT it's not the most finest item i've made. The fabric is horrible to sew because it's a coarse woven material, it's almost impossible to lock the seam. Every seam i sew with the lockmachine (i don't know if you called it a lockmachine in English) but every time i did, the whole weave/fabric destroys itself! Luckily i knew how to fix it, so this is what came out.

As you can see i've made one piping pocket (also almost impossible in this fabric) and i've put elastic in the waistband.

On to the next project!

H&M Trend shirt - Cheap Monday Jeans - Dille & Kamille bag
Easy outfit for easy shopping. Went shopping with my dear friend Maxim yesterday. And i didn't think about the fact that with a thin cotton shirt, you get creases everywhere while even wearing it an for hour. So i walked around like i didn't ironed my shirt.... But hey, this happens to everybody right?

P.s. i bought something i thought i would never bought. But i'll show that later.

Found these gold glitter top at the vintage market called "Noordermarkt" in Amsterdam about a month ago. This is the first time i'm actually wearing it and as much i despite glitter in clothing, this one stole my heart. I just had to have it.

The people who know me best, know that i am weak for COS. Especially COS accessoires, in particular bracelets. I like the fact that they use rare materials and shapes for the accessoires collection like steel, metal or knits. I don't know why but always when i visit a COS store, i go home with a bracelet. I guess i can't leave without...

DIY ; HARDWARE NECKLACE

As i went to a hardware store for some paint, i bumped into these two things. The golden nut reminded me of a bracelet i have from COS, so i thought, why not create a necklace out of it? So as i walked trough all what a hardware store has to offer, i came across these chain which is intended for bathroom purposes. A necklace was born.

All you have to do is thread the nut connection to the chain and there is your necklace!

P.s. i came home without paint.

Zara Fall/Winter - 2013/2014

Kinda diggin' the whole Zara collection of fall 2013. Normally i do not like a whole collection, there are always items i don't like but this time is an exception. I think it's because of the use of natural colors and beautiful materials like wool and wool felt. Look at the grey coat in the second picture, it's absolutely stunning. Must.have.it.

What i liked in these photos is the combination between statement black and hysteric street art. Yet they fit perfect with each other with colors and textures. Even though the background is kinda hysteric with his texts and all, with black there is sort of rest in the image and atmosphere.

Burberry scarf - Zara shorts - H&M Shoes

Normally i am not a huge Burberry fan, but this silk Burberry scarf in my hair has a emotional value to me. It was a gift from my mother on my 21th birthday. She wanted to give me something timeless and wich i can wear for years. I was touched by the fact that, that was her thought about a birthday gift for me, that i had to love it, and i do.
So if you may read this: Thankyou Mom, i still love it.
