Like them neutrals colors lately. Mixed with some old time favorite black.

I'm thinking a lot about over consuming lately, as i spoke about in a previous post. Why us human buy a lot of things we don't need but simply buy because we can.

So i saw at Sabrina's and Maria's blog the Five piece French wardrobe concept, maybe u should try that out too. Allowing myself to buy only necessary items. Sure something to think about....

P.S. Seems like winter is leaving Holland.... For a day.

Christmas break! And with Christmas and all going on today and tomorrow, i thought it was time to relax and be comfortable before all the craziness begins. Merry Christmas everybody!

However it's still (in Dutch terms) warm outside, Fall has definitely arrived. Fall is my favorite season of the year because of the warm coats, scarfs, big chunky knits and lot's of layers and layers and layers. Also because the colors of nature are the most prettiest and bright during Fall time. Kinda inspiring and stands for the start of a new chapter in life. (New hair color maybe?)

Yesterday's simple outfit at a simple school day of technical design and technical pattern drawing class. A day were you can wear chunky knits as a coat. Yesterday during pattern drawing class i've learned about the fitting, cuts and stitches of jeans/denim yesterday. Never knew there were so many things to think about when it comes to designing a jeans. However i wear jeans (mostly black ones) quite often, i never designed them before. Never thought of it in that way.

Almost weekend! With only one day to go, i survived the first week of school! Tons of things to do already which i'm pretty excited about and a project coming up next week but i'll tell you more about that later. First, Happy Weekend!

I personally think the hear, see and silence part is in this society today such an important aspect. Everything you say, everything you do, there will always be someone who criticize or disrespect what you're doing or you're opion. I've learned along the way it's better to keep silence than attack one another. That does not mean you don't speak out or so because in this society you have to have a voice, a identity, a personality to reach the success you want to archieve. But still be and stay true to yourself.

Conclusion: Do what you love and never let anyone tell you to do different.

Easy outfit for easy shopping. Went shopping with my dear friend Maxim yesterday. And i didn't think about the fact that with a thin cotton shirt, you get creases everywhere while even wearing it an for hour. So i walked around like i didn't ironed my shirt.... But hey, this happens to everybody right?

P.s. i bought something i thought i would never bought. But i'll show that later.

Found these gold glitter top at the vintage market called "Noordermarkt" in Amsterdam about a month ago. This is the first time i'm actually wearing it and as much i despite glitter in clothing, this one stole my heart. I just had to have it.

I like the fact that they use rare materials and shapes for the accessoires collection like steel, metal or knits. I don't know why but always when i visit a COS store, i go home with a bracelet. I guess i can't leave without...

What i liked in these photos is the combination between statement black and hysteric street art. Yet they fit perfect with each other with colors and textures. Even though the background is kinda hysteric with his texts and all, with black there is sort of rest in the image and atmosphere.

A touch of Mom

Normally i am not a huge Burberry fan, but this silk Burberry scarf in my hair has a emotional value to me. It was a gift from my mother on my 21th birthday. She wanted to give me something timeless and wich i can wear for years. I was touched by the fact that, that was her thought about a birthday gift for me, that i had to love it, and i do.
So if you may read this: Thankyou Mom, i still love it.
